At Cornell University, I closely studied and developed an affinity to microinvestment in developing countries. In Colombia, my family worked closely with former women captives of The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, a US-designated terror organization. Through the work of our dedicated team, we helped these women establish businesses for their handmade goods and connected them to global marketplaces. Using my technology background, I was able to build a web presence for these individuals complete with online point of sale and social media.
